AND DOWN CAME THE RAINS

This was the state of affairs on Monday morning following Sunday's torrential rains all day and through the night. Everything was covered with a thick coating of ice ; the power went out during the night and the generator kicked on to keep us from freezing to death.

The photo is of the Hoosac River and railroad bridge just over the line in N Petersburg. The river was nearly over it's banks.

The crew at the house was pretty sparse, just Ray Broadwell and Jeremy.

The power came back on around 4:30.
